If you fancy a spine tingling horror movie night, then read this list. I will list my top three up-to-date horror films.
1. Dawn Of The Dead
Dawn of the Dead is the story of a bunch of survivors that take refuge in a mall when the world comes to an end and the dead rise from the ground, if you are bitten you turn into a flesh eating zombie! The bunch of survivors fortify the mall and get the doors and windows etc. They must now try to outlast the dead and make sure not to be eaten in the meantime.

2. Halloween
Halloween is the story of Michael Myers. A demented serial killer that comes back every Halloween to wreck havoc on a small town. It is one of the greatest hack and slash films that will have you screaming at the screen! The music is intense and builds the scene perfectly.

3. The Shining
An amazingly slow but tense horror film, moderately builds up the terrifying tension. It is the story of Jack, a winter house keeper for a hotel in the middle of nowhere. He is an avid writer and the solitude moderately creeps in and takes over his mind. He starts to see visions and finally goes crazy attempting to kill his wife and child.
There are y top 3 movies for a scary film night. There are many other great films but these have to be some of my favourites. Other films that were thought about but not put n the list were: Nightmare on elm street, Texas chainsaw massacre and Alien.
